Hats are one of the most popular places for custom patches — and the curved front changes what works best.
Leather
The go-to premium hat look. Leather patches are debossed or engraved and suit trucker hats and snapbacks.
3D puff embroidery
Raised foam lettering gives bold dimension. Best with thick strokes and simple shapes. See 3D puff patches.
Classic embroidered
Texture and color in a familiar format. Works for most logos at hat sizes.
Woven
Flat and detailed — good when your logo has small text.
PVC
Durable and weather resistant for outdoor and performance hats.
Size and shape
Hat-front patches are usually around 2"–3" wide. Rectangles, ovals and custom shapes are common. Our size guide shows the scale.
Attachment
Hats are usually sewn or heat-pressed. Tell us how you'll apply the patch and we'll recommend a backing.
