Question 1

Do you manufacture the patches directly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Markhor Patches produces orders in its own manufacturing facility, run by a team with long experience in patch-making.

Question 2

What artwork formats do you accept?

Accepted Answer

PNG, JPG/JPEG, PDF, SVG, AI and EPS. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF) are ideal, but a clear image is usually enough to start.

Question 3

Can you help if I don't have artwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose “I don't have artwork yet” in the quote form and describe your idea, or send a sketch or photo. Our artwork team will turn it into a production-ready design.

Question 4

What's the difference between merrowed and heat-cut borders?

Accepted Answer

A merrowed border is a thick, overlocked thread edge for simple shapes like circles and rectangles. A heat-cut border is sealed with a hot knife and follows any custom outline.

Question 5

What backing should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Sew-on is the most permanent. Iron-on is quick on most cotton and poly blends. Velcro (hook & loop) makes patches removable. Peel & stick is for temporary use. Not sure? Choose “Not Sure” and we'll recommend one. See our [backing guide](/backing-guide).

Question 6

What is your minimum order?

Accepted Answer

Minimums depend on the patch type and size. Many embroidered, woven and printed projects start from small runs, while molded PVC and silicone need larger quantities because they use a custom mold. Tell us your quantity in your quote request and we'll confirm what works.

Question 7

Can I reorder an old design?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Approved designs are saved in your account. Choose “Reorder this design” and we only ask for quantity, deadline, any changes and shipping details.

Question 8

How do quotations work?

Accepted Answer

Tell us your patch type, size, quantity and deadline and upload your artwork. Our team reviews your requirements and sends a private quote with specifications and timeline. Accept it online and we start on your proof.

Question 9

How long does production take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the patch type, quantity and your proof approval. Your quote includes a production timeline for your specific project, and your dashboard shows each stage as it happens.

Question 10

Do you offer rush production?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Choose “Rush” and your required date in the quote form and we'll confirm honestly what's possible before you commit.

Question 11

Will I see a proof before production?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every order gets a digital proof showing the artwork, size, colors and specifications. Nothing goes into production until you approve it.

Question 12

Can I request proof changes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use “Request changes” on your proof and tell us what to adjust. We prepare a new version and keep the full proof history in your account.

Question 13

What happens if there is a manufacturing issue?

Accepted Answer

If we produce something differently from the proof you approved, contact us with photos and we'll make it right.

Question 14

Where do you ship?

Accepted Answer

The regions we currently ship to are listed in our shipping section. Every shipment is tracked. If your country isn't listed, contact us before ordering.

Question 15

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your account to see your order timeline from confirmation to delivery, or use Track Order with your order number and email. Shipped orders include carrier tracking.
